For adults, summer holiday romances are generally a thing of the past. (A summer shag with the waiter at a French cafe while you were in Paris for a business trip doesn't really count.)
Instead, adults like to go camping at music festivals and pretend they're on some exotic holiday away from the burdens and monotony of their every day life. They also like to meet new people, and if they're single, are all too aware that they very well could meet someone. And maybe, just maybe, that someone could turn out to the The One. No pressure!
Upon first glance, David Mackenzie's film You Instead looks like your typical "guy meets girl" RomCom, just based in the mud and booze-filled atmosphere of a festival. However, You Instead actually seems to be much entertaining than that.
Filmed "guerrilla-style" over five days during the T in the Park festival in the summer of 2010, You Instead is all about what happens when indie rock star Adam, played by Luke Treadaway, is handcuffed to Morello (Natalia Tena), the lead singer of a punk girl band The Dirty Pinks.

At first, they hate each other, and then over the next 24 hours of being chained together (as you probably guessed) they start to have those things called "feelings" for each other.
Again, the synopsis may sound a bit cheesy and predictable, but the trailer shows that this is a musical romantic comedy with a bit more edge to it, and looks very much like an enjoyable film to watch.
