While Saturday Day Night Live may not be what it used to, I have hope for this upcoming season. With a flurry of celebrities and politicians to make fun of, Election Season is when SNL seems to flourish. The season premier is this Saturday, September 13 on NBC at 11:30pm, and I absolutely cannot wait.
Barack Obama will be making his second appearance on the show, and his "people" explain that while he will be on the show "the details of the sketch are still being worked out".
Tina Fey is also rumoured to be making an appearance on the season premier as, hello, she looks just like Sarah Palin. How could she NOT come on the show to make an appearance? She looks exactly like the most talked about politician on the moment. That's like a golden offering from the Comedic Gods.
