Just a few minutes ago, a gigantic cupcake was sliced and served to hundreds of tourists, cake lovers and opportunistic passersby at the Covent Garden Real Food Market.
The cupcake, designed
by Culinary Olympic winner Michelle Wibowo, was indeed gigantic. And, of course, as pink as possible.

The Ferrari restaurant in London's Balham has recently undergone a £100,000 refurbishment and been reborn as part of the Locale family.
Locale, which also has restaurants in Fulham, East Dulwich, Blackheath and Waterloo offers a variety of modern Italian cuisine in a relaxed environment using locally sourced ingredients.

I have long been a fan of the midnight movie showings. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I've seen every Harry Potter film - except for the first one - at a midnight showing. Tonight at midnight marks the U.S. premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and I've got my tickets ready. But what makes midnight movies so much fun, even for the non-rabid fans?
