If you love karaoke, but hate karaoke bars, Lucky Voice is most certainly your best friend. Karaoking in the privacy of your own room or booth is pretty sweet, but Lucky Voice has taken their awesomeness a step further by launching the Lucky Voice Pop Up Parties!
Perfect for Christmas or New Year, Lucky Voice Pop Up Parties are basically karaoke parties that, er, pop up wherever you want them to. Whether it’s a marquee in your back garden or a hotel function room, Lucky Voice Pop Up Parties provide you will everything you need to recreate your own Lucky Voice venue for one night only. (Or, as many nights as you like, providing you can fork out the cash.)
The self-pegged “ultimate karaoke service” comes with a designer touch-screen karaoke pod which houses over 8,000 songs for you and your friends to butcher, as well as a 42” plasma screen TV, a Bose sound system with two wireless mics.
Heck, it even comes with a techy dude to set up and look after the system from start to finish, as well as a dress up chest filled with hideous wigs, blow-up guitars and hats one usually only sees on New Years Eve or at a really messy hen night in Brighton.
BitchBuzz recently attended the exclusive launch of the Lucky Voice Pop Up Parties at the uber posh Kensington Roof Gardens, and what a night it was.
Aimed at those who can actually afford to hire out a pop-up karaoke bar, Kensington Roof Gardens was the perfect place to entice the upper class with a bit of overly priced booze and the opportunity to show off those well trained but low-talent vocal cords. (Finally those three years of voice lessons paid off!)

Having been to the Lucky Voice in Islington, I can vouch for the fact that the Pop Up Parties are exactly like what goes on in a private Lucky Voice room, but just out in the open. It’s the same great equipment, the same fantastic song catalog, and the same disturbing wigs.
My only suggestion would be that the Pop Up Parties had the option to come with two TVs, with one displaying the lyrics, and the other connected to a camera so that the “singer” is on display for everyone to see and point and laugh at, rather than having everyone being forced to stare at someone’s back while they sing. (No matter how fine that back might be.)
Lucky Voice know how to throw one hell of a party, and with a couple different party packages to choose from, I think this is a fantastic idea for the next party or function you plan! To book a Pop Up Party or to request a quote, email Jess AT luckyvoice DOT com or phone 020 7907 7746.
