Cat & The Cream: The Organic and Fairtrade Bakery Boutique

By Jo Gifford

If cupcakes are a girl’s best friend, Cat & The Cream is your BFF on redial.

These gorgeous bespoke handmade goodies are lovingly designed and delivered with exquisite flair to critical acclaim and lip smacking success.

Cat Lyne, the lady behind the delicious emporium of cupcake heaven, has successfully iced her own niche in the competitive world of boutique bakeries.

At the heart of the Cat & the Cream philosophy is carefully sourced organic fairtrade ingredients (since you ask, the butter, milk and cream all hail from the West Country while the free range eggs are delivered from a farm in Kent), a mouth watering range of flavours like Lemon and poppy, Apple, cinnamon and ginger, chai and pistachio. and, to top it all, some stunningly designed morsels.

Cat & The Cream

Cat has always loved getting creative in the kitchen, and the business started after her stint at Art School with a view to making part time pennies. The winning combination of flavours and visual flair has taken Cat & The Cream from word of mouth orders to farmers markets and now a successful online business catering for all kinds of events from corporate functions to weddings. The cupcakes come with hand written gift cards beautifully wrapped and delivered at cost for the ultimate treat or brilliantly bespoke gift.

So gorgeous! I wish I liked frosting more... seems such a shame to scrape all but a teaspoonful off these beauties when I'm eating them. :)
